A special Christmas appeal

Beverley Joseph is raising funds to provide electric wheelchairs for two children in Nepal who live with cerebral palsy. Here is their story…

Sushma and Seema Joshey are two thoughtful and sweet young ladies from the rural village of Belbari Morang in Nepal.

The sisters were both born with a severe case of cerebral palsy, which means that simple everyday tasks like moving independently from home to school or popping to the shops for essentials is a dream for them.

2020, the year of the COVID-19 pandemic, has presented its struggles for everyone. But wouldn’t it be wonderful for us to find the joy in giving someone less fortunate the most memorable Christmas of their life so far?

The idea is to raise enough funds to sponsor two electric wheelchairs for them in time for Christmas. I hope you will join me in making this Christmas one that the Joshey sisters will never forget.

Thank you,
Beverley.
