RTÉ 1 television and RTÉ Radio 1 Extra will broadcast a Eucharist service on Easter Sunday, 21st April.

The service will be celebrated by the Very Revd Paul Bogle, who will be joined by the Meath Diocesan Choir and parishioners from the parishes of Trim and Athboy.

The service will be recorded in RTÉ’s studios on Palm Sunday, 14 April. To take part in this service, parishioners can add their names to the list in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Trim or by emailing info@trimandathboy.com

Transport will be available on the day, with the recording taking most of the afternoon to complete.

St James’ Church, Athboy, will hold a united service for both Trim and Athboy parishes at 10am on Palm Sunday. There will be no 11.30am service in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Trim, on that day.
