St Patrick’s N.S. raising funds for garden project
St Patrick’s National School is raising funds and source resources for a new garden project, which includes the purchase of a polytunnel. The goal is to raise €1,500 for the purchase of a polytunnel and materials for raised beds within. The polytunnel, once complete, will provide an outstanding outdoor classroom environment that will allow for hands-on, real-time learning for students. RTÉ 1 television and RTÉ Radio 1 Extra will broadcast a Eucharist service on Easter Sunday, 21st April. The service will be celebrated by the Very Revd Paul Bogle, who will be joined by the Meath Diocesan Choir and parishioners from the parishes of Trim and Athboy.
